This 48 hour report of Wynn's most recent donors is stunning. In the last two days, more than $100k has come in to his campaign, and apparently the right-wing National Assocation of Realtors has substantially upped their independent buy.
Here's a list of who has given to him in the last 48 hours:
Foundation Coal, Verizon, Society of Independent Gasoline Markets, Reliant Energy, Allegheny Energy, American Electric Power, American Healthcare Association, BankAmerica Corporation, Cisco Systems, Coventry Health Care, Dell Inc, Dominion PAC, Eastman Kodak, Gaylord Entertainment Co PAC, General Electric PAC, Genesis Healthcare Corporation, Healthcare Distribution Management Assocation, Hogan and Hartson PAC, Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, Microsoft, Mirant, National Fisheries Institute (FISHPAC), National Association of Broadcasters, NODAK, Norfolk Southern, NORPAC, Pinnacle West Capital Corporation, US Chamber of Commerce
And just a few days before this $100k infusion, Wynn got a little more than $50k from the following folks.
Air Line Pilots Association, Comcast Corp. Political Action Committe, Con-way Inc, Federal National Mortgage Association PAC, GlaxoSmithKline, National Air Traffic Controllers Association, National Apartment Association PAC, Northrop Grumman, Online Lenders Alliance, Safeway
In addition, Bobby Rush, Eliot Engel, Bart Gordon, Steny Hoyer, and the Congressional Black Caucus PAC sent money to Al Wynn.
I have seen nothing like this since the waning days of the Lieberman/Lamont race, when the money just poured into Lieberman's coffers. Clearly the business right is panicked and stuffing as much money as possible into Wynn's campaign. I imagine this is going to be used for walking around money and a massive GOTV operation.
Wynn is also spreading the rumor that there's an official Obama/Wynn ticket.
